Paints out...
I feel so depressed being cooped up inside on perhaps the nicest day so far this year. But it is all in aid of a decent grade, so it's no ones fault but mine for not keeping on top of everything.

So my loom is ready and waiting to weave on Monday, and today is such a nice day that I feel quite depressed spending it indoors. I'm tempted to go out and buy some folders, if just to enjoy the sunshine and warm weather, but it's a Saturday which means I'd only get stressed out!
I suppose I shall just stay in and work through my sketchbook, design ideas and planning next weeks weaving.

I love it when the wind blows the window shut
I walked home in the rain with no umbrella and holes in my shoes. It was brilliant. I definately love spring. Everything was damp smelling and green.
Added to my wall...I can't look up without seeing something inspiring or that makes me feel happy. Productive workspace.

If you don't look, you won't see
I went for a short walk in the arboretum this afternoon, taking photo's for my new project. I have since decided that moss is one of the most beautiful things, and no-one ever seems to pay it attention unless they're scraping it off the wall. Which, by the way, I think is a dreadful shame.

I also noticed the first tiny green buds beginning to grow on a tree...this made me smile...aside from the deep, dark depths of winter, I love March and October...they always smell so fresh and rainy. Speaking of which, I dreamt about the smell of rain last night...hmm odd as it is rainy today.
